It took eons, but the videos recorded at RailsConf ‘07 are finally ready. These videos include all the keynotes from the conference. A great warm-up for 2008 as we’ll soon be opening for general registering on this year’s conference.
Ruby on Rails was created by David Heinemeier Hansson, a partner at 37signals,
then extended and improved by a core team of committers and hundreds of open-source contributors.
Rails is released under the MIT license. Ruby under the Ruby License.

It’s a shame the video doesn’t show Ze Frank’s slides. That stuff was brilliant.
You might want to point out that the code the presenters are discussing isn’t actually visible, just so people won’t waste their time.

+1 for confreaks – they even let you download the videos for off-line viewing.
Am I the only one that dislikes being forced to watch videos in a browser instead of in my local media player whose controls I have mastered and that can be controlled by keyboard shortcuts, get resized and at will, clikc to view any point – do a binary search for a specific bit of a video.
Streaming media only sucks.

Would be nice to see any demonstrations as well as the slides though.
+1 confreaks as well. Not just for the downloads, but also for the side-by-side view.
Ze Frank’s jokes and timing is completely pointless without the slides and visual aides.

and no slide is just sily.. is the cameraman has trouble zooming at the crowd also?
